Fun day

Today was Madison's preschool Christmas program. She was beaming as she came out with her red nose and antlers. She sang all of the songs so great and gave me plenty of smiles. It was extra special because Rob was actually off today and came. He never knows his day off, and he felt lucky to be home on the busiest mail day of the year:)

Since Rob was home it was a good opportunity for a daddy date with AJ, since I had a date with Maddie last week. We hope to switch off each month and just spend at least an hour with the kids alone. You can just see it in their face how much they love it.AJ and Rob took a trip to the daddy store (Lowes) and then to Iceberg to get shakes. This shake is the smallest apparently but it is as big as AJ:)

Poor Cheyennes "special" day consisted of mommy trying out hot curlers in her hair and getting pounced by her big brother:)She liked it at first, but AJ took it too far and she got ticked off.

Such cute pics - I think yours and Rob's idea of time alone with the kids is awesome!
