Every year we go to IFA and look at the chicks..this year we were excited to bring them home. We already have bees in the backyard...what's a few chickens right:) We eat a lot of eggs and love the learning experience for us and the kids and we finally have a home where it works.

| Choosing our chicks |
We each picked our own chick and got an extra for free since the chick couldn't be alone or something. On our way home with a box of 6 chicks I noticed the smell right off. They smell like dog poop actually, And they poop a lot.

| Technically Hawk is my chick, but the kids LOVE him. He is the smallest and doesn't freak out when they hold him. |
