We went to the Aviary for our first time. I really, strongly dislike birds, but the kids had a great time. After we played at Liberty park and had a picnic.
Maddie and Cheyenne were invited to a fancy tea part. They made adorable hats, sand art in vases, makeovers and of course a tea party with quite a selection of desserts.
We are trying to go to the zoo before our membership expires. Carson seems to do pretty good on these outings, and I just bring a bottle along for convenience. They were sad that the sebras are gone, but really love the ostriches in their place. We will have to get a zoo pass when the new ploar bear exhibit opens in 2012--they are so excited.
